- Philosophy, individuals, methodology, measures, tools. Differentiating
- Cause, Problem and Consequence, Identifying added value, waste and variation, DMAIC methodology.
2 Using tools: optimizing work environment (5S), standardizing work
3 Kaizen simulation:
- Define component (team creation, project charter, milestone review)
- Measure component (added value, process mapping, spaghetti diagram, data collection plan, milestone review)
- Analyze component (NVA identification, 5-Whys tree, milestone review)
- Improve component (creativity management, optimization principles, processing times,
- Production fleet and Takt Time, pull flow, cellular arrangement, Poka-Yoke (fail-safes), impact/effort matrix, finding solutions, implementing improvements, milestone review)
- Control component (establishing standard operating procedures, skills matrix, analyzing strengths, communication plan, training plan, action plan, monitoring plan).
