Technologia: committed to protecting your privacy

To ensure optimal privacy protection, Technologia has implemented a Code regarding the protection of personal information which aims to institute conscientious and transparent practices for the management of personal information across all of our communications, processes and relations with our clients.

This Code was drafted in compliance with the provisions of federal and provincial laws and regulations as well as the practices in force in our industry.

CODE REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

To better serve you

Your personal information helps us better meet your needs, take your preferences into consideration, develop trustworthy business relationships and deliver quality services. This information includes all of the data gathered during the registration process as well as the details obtained from billing records, the list of courses taken and other elements.

We will use the information you provide us via this site to either answer your questions, enrol you in a course or seminar, offer you a quote, subscribe you to our newsletter, etc.

We may occasionally send you special invitations or otherwise communicate with you via e-mail, regular mail or telephone. If you would like us to remove your name and contact details from one or more of our mailing lists, simply call us, e-mail us or send us a letter.

We promise to keep all of your personal information confidential, and to neither sell nor otherwise convey any personal client data to other organizations or companies. Your personal information will never be used for any purposes other than those indicated above, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise ahead of time.

We do our utmost to protect you

Your information is retained only by Technologia, which notably stores it in databases that are subject to strict control procedures and protected by regularly updated security mechanisms.

Technologia's authorized representatives may only access these databases for specific task-related objectives, and must always abide by our privacy rules and security procedures.

Technologia has taken all measures required to protect access to your data. This being said, we cannot ensure the security of the data and information transmitted via our Web site, hence all users are presumed to execute such information and data transmissions at their own risk.

You can access all of your information at any time

Optimal experience thanks to the use of cookies

Like most business Web sites, Technologia makes use of cookies in order to identify your computer and store your preferences for future visits.

The cookies we use are not harmful, their sole purpose being to save certain "wish list" data and information on the courses you select in your shopping cart. We notably keep your name, address and other contact details, but do not save any payment details once a transaction is completed.

While users have the option of refusing cookies, this will require that they complete the form again each time they wish to register for a new training course.

Cookies do not enable access to your computer, nor do they transmit data other than the information you have chosen to voluntarily provide during your visit to our site. You also retain the right to disable cookies in your browser (this, however, will prevent you from fully benefiting from the functionalities and benefits of our Web site).

Technologia uses, in addition to the usual data, cookies to collect information, optimize, and serve ads based on someone's past visits to Technologia’s Website. These cookies are used for Remarketing actions via the DoubleClik cookie. Remarketing permits to advertise online for Technologia’s visitors. Third-party vendors, including Google, show your ads on sites across the Internet.

Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Preferences Manager.

A Web site created with a view to continuous improvement

Technologia relies on Google Analytics to obtain general information on how visitors use its Web site. These observations do not allow us to personally identify you. They are, instead, used to analyze our site's strengths and weaknesses, and this with the aim of ensuring that your visits are as pleasant and user-friendly as possible.

Prioritizing your comments and complaints

Should you believe that Technologia has failed to abide by the principles stated in its Code regarding the protection of personal information, you can file a complaint with the Technologia representative responsible for the Code's internal application. Please send any such complaints or comments to Daphné Comtois, HEad of Registrations, at: 1626 St-Laurent Blvd., #100 - Montréal (Québec) Canada H2X 2T1

Technologia promises to investigate all complaints regarding violations of its Code and to take all measures subsequently deemed necessary. This could include making changes to the Code or the organization's practices. We also promise to keep you informed of the results of any investigation initiated in response to your complaint.
