Handle workplace tensions effectively and resolve conflicts
Whether we like it or not, conflicts are inevitable and an integral part of our personal and professional lives. They arise when individuals interact and are interdependent, particularly in a work environment. As managers, you have to deal with difficult situations, ranging from simple misunderstandings between two colleagues to generalized conflict within your teams. Your ability to manage these situations constructively is essential to maintaining a healthy, productive work environment.
To achieve this, you first need to be able to analyze the warning signs, so you can intervene quickly and prevent a simple misbehavior from escalating into conflict. Concrete case studies will help you identify the actions you need to take when faced with a conflict, by linking you to conditions that will make your intervention a success. Finally, you'll acquire a structured conflict management practice to which you can refer on a daily basis.
Doing nothing is rarely an option. Unmanaged conflicts tend to escalate. However, the way to intervene may vary according to the situation and the people involved. This training course will give you the tools you need to step back and analyze the situation so you can act appropriately.
