There is no project without purchasing, there is no purchasing without suppliers and there are no suppliers without contracts! This training will allow you to familiarize yourself with the procurement management process, in order to adequately answer the question: what are the project's needs for its proper execution? The training will help you identify the product or service requirements to be included in the project definition and how to address them within the project manager's responsibilities.

Following this Project Management Procurement training, the participant will be able to: Understand what strategic sourcing is all about :
- Acquire the terminology, principles and practices related to procurement
management;
- Know the mechanisms and concepts of contract administration from project
start-up to project closure.
Among the concepts covered, the participant will see :
- Identification of requirements - Procurement requirements register: how and
where to list the complete requirements (to the extent possible) to complete
the project.
- Procurement management steps: developing a bid for suppliers (planning and
managing a tender to select a supplier), requesting a quote, using a contract
to formalize the agreement, issuing a purchase order, issuing payments,
closing the contract (ensuring that all potential issues are addressed)
- Strategic response to procurement needs
- Types of contracts and their impacts
- Taking Action Choosing the Right Contract.
