Content
A project to be delivered involves, in the vast majority of cases, several stakeholders. These stakeholders may be involved to varying degrees. During this training, the participant will see how to identify the stakeholders, determine their needs and plan the communication actions accordingly.

- Validate and adapt management and communication strategies;
- Develop the reflex to integrate the concerns of internal and external stakeholders;
- Recognize the concerns and issues of social acceptability in projects.

How to identify stakeholders and their impacts •Stakeholder mapping
- Who are the parties concerned by the project (sponsor, end-user, project team, management, suppliers, customers...)
- Are they involved in the execution of the project or impacted by it (how to distinguish them: conduct direct interviews, solicit indirect feedback, consult project documentation)
- How they should be managed
Levels of stakeholder engagement •Stakeholder management strategy
- Internally and according to their hierarchical level
- Externally and according to their level of involvement
- What support to count on in stakeholder management (to influence, to obtain more resources...)
Communication, the key to stakeholder engagement in a project
- Define the nature and degree of intervention needed by each stakeholder (from simple progress communication to detailed risk reporting).
