In an increasingly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) environment, managers must deal daily with unpredictable, diverse, and unstable individual behaviors. These dynamics undermine team cohesion and compromise operational effectiveness, particularly in unexpected situations. This training provides you with practical tools to maintain collective performance even when reference points disappear. You will learn to interpret your employees’ responses to uncertainty using the N.A.V.I.R.E. model, a clear, actionable behavioral analysis framework designed for real-world application. When shared with your team, this model becomes a common language that strengthens collective agility, mutual trust, and the ability to move forward together in the face of new challenges. The N.A.V.I.R.E. model enables you to guide your team so that it remains cohesive, efficient and able to tackle new challenges with confidence and pragmatism. Shared with your colleagues, it's an indispensable tool in an increasingly VICA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world.
Objectives
At the end of this activity, the participant will be able to maintain team dynamics based on individual postures in the face of uncertainty.
Is it for you ?
This training is for you if you: • manage a team facing frequent changes, reorganizations, or uncertain circumstances; • notice tensions, resistance, or behaviors that are difficult to interpret within your team; • seek to better distribute responsibilities while taking into account each person’s strengths and weaknesses; • want to turn the diversity of profiles into a collective advantage rather than a source of friction. It is suitable for first-line managers as well as middle and senior managers across all industries.
Prerequisite
No prior training is required. This training is open to all managers, whether they are new to the role or have several years of experience.

Understanding the N.A.V.I.R.E. Model
Placed in a situation that challenges their assumptions, participants discover how certain individual beliefs amplify feelings of uncertainty.
Through this immersive experience, they master the N.A.V.I.R.E. model, a tool for identifying behaviors associated with the perception of change and the unexpected.
Each letter of the model corresponds to a distinct mindset—profiles that any manager can learn to recognize within their team.
Categorizing Your Team’s Mindsets
Using a real-life case study, participants practice identifying different behaviors in the face of change and understanding the underlying mechanisms.
They learn to interpret individual reactions, link them to the beliefs at play, and recognize the dynamic nature of these attitudes, as the same employee may shift from one attitude to another depending on the context. The discussion then turns to the value of sharing this framework within the team: how the ambivalence of behaviors, when properly understood, enhances active listening and collective agility, and turns diversity into an asset rather than an obstacle.
Identifying Critical Issues Through Team Diversity
Continuing with the same real-life case, participants take on the manager’s perspective to examine interactions among team members with a keen eye.
They learn to identify functional irritants—those subtle tensions or blockages that, if left unaddressed, undermine collective performance—and to situate them within the specific context of their team.
The goal: to draw operational conclusions about the dynamics at play, without labeling behaviors as “good” or “bad,” but by understanding how each contributes to the whole.
Adapting Task Allocation to Individual Roles
Building on the lessons from the previous modules, this final session helps participants harness the potential of each role to optimize contributions to the collective effort.
They formulate hypotheses on the best way to reorganize work and assign tasks in the real-world case study, taking into account how roles may evolve over time.
The session concludes with practical recommendations on how to integrate N.A.V.I.R.E. into management practices and communicate its use within the team.
