The Microsoft Power Platform helps organizations optimize their operations by simplifying, automating, and transforming business tasks and processes.

Objectives

This training enables participants to acquire the knowledge necessary to create Power Apps, automate flows, and extend the platform to meet business needs and solve complex problems.

Is it for you ?

Participants design, develop, secure, and troubleshoot Power Platform solutions. They implement solution components that include application enhancements, custom user experiences, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations. Participants will gain applied knowledge of Power Platform services, including a thorough understanding of capabilities, limitations, and constraints. They should have development experience including JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful Web Services, ASP.NET, and Power BI.

    Extending the User Experience of Model-Driven Power Platform Apps:

    • Learn to create client-side scripts, perform common actions with client-side scripts, and automate business process flows with client-side scripts.
    • Learn what client-side scripts can do, the rules and maintenance of scripts, and when to use or avoid client-side scripts.

    Creating Components with Power Apps Component Framework:

    • Learn the basics and components of Power Apps Component Framework.
    • Learn to build a component and work with advanced features of Power Apps Component Framework.

    Extending the Common Data Service of Power Platform:

    • Review tools and resources necessary to extend the Power Platform.
    • Review SDKs, the extensibility model, and the event framework.
    • Use plugins, configure plugins, and register and deploy plugins.

    Integrating with Power Platform and Common Data Service:

    • Learn to integrate Common Data Service using code by familiarizing with the Common Data Service API.
    • Get an in-depth overview of the options available with Common Data Service for integrating data and events with Azure.

    Extending Power Apps Portals:

    • Learn to transform a content portal into a full web app interacting with Common Data Service.
    • Discover the options available for customizers and developers to extend portal functionality and integrate with Office 365, Power Platform, and Azure components.
