Derived from the Lean management system, the Toyota Kata is a management approach consisting of an improvement routine and a coaching routine. The first is a simple, effective routine for identifying the obstacles preventing us from reaching the target in line with the company's vision. It takes us systematically through rapid improvement cycles to eliminate these obstacles one at a time. The five-question coaching routine enables us to systematically draw out the lessons learned from each experience. The Toyota Kata enables organizations to better target their continuous improvement efforts and support the management system on a daily basis.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to integrate an improvement and coaching routine into their day-to-day management system.
