Web design and writing: integrating accessibility from the creation stage

Accessibility is decided long before integration, in every word and every component.

Accessibility is decided long before integration, in every word and every component.

Web design and content writing are often seen as being far removed from the technical challenges of accessibility. However, visual design choices, page structure, and the quality of written content play a significant role in a website's overall accessibility. Overlooking these aspects can create issues that developers could have avoided much earlier in the process.
This training equips designers and writers to make accessibility a natural part of their work. From screen reader copywriting to designing interactive components, participants will learn the best practices and compliance with WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) that make a difference from the very first draft.
