Alcides Santopietro

Alcides has 22 years of project management experience, having managed international projects in the IT, web/media, engineering and aviation sectors in over 10 different countries. His experience in the corporate sphere includes organizations such as SNC-Lavalin and Swissport, among others. For over 10 years, Alcides has designed and delivered project management training programs and PMI® exam preparation courses in various formats and three languages. Alcides is also a lecturer at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where he teaches courses on portfolio management as part of his master's program in project management. Alcides is an engineer, a master in project management, and holds PMP®, PMI-ACP®, CSM, DA Coach and SAFe Agilist certifications, and is also a graduate of the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class. An active member of PMI since 2002, he has served as a mentor, project manager, Disciplined Agile Chapter Champion and VP of the PMI-Montreal Chapter Board of Directors. Alcides is originally from Brazil, and has been living in Quebec since 2007.
