Gaston Durand, MCT MCSE since 1998. He is Vice-President, mentor and partner at T-Mentor since 2000. He has also been an IT trainer since 1983. Gaston has trained over 10,000 people to date, mainly in Microsoft-authorized training centres as well as CÉGEPs and vocational centres.
Mandated as a key trainer for several companies of over 25,000 users, Gaston is responsible for training a variety of technical teams at all support levels—workstations as well as servers. He has trained hundreds of companies—including crown corporations and various federal and provincial departments—to help them migrate from Banyan Vines and Novell to Microsoft. Gaston has also been mandated with presenting new technological trends for Microsoft and Dell during various technology fairs.
Gaston also devotes part of his time to providing consultation services, mainly as a data architect and security advisor in different environments, including ITIL, ISO, Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC, OFAC, Dodd-Frank, SSAE16 and SAS70. He is co-founder of Globalradar, a company specialized in helping manage risk and compliance applications in an effort to prevent money laundering in the financial world. Globalradar operates in 14 countries around the globe. Gaston’s ability to make complex concepts easy to understand is one of the skills people appreciate most in him.
