Objectives

To provide the skills and knowledge required to effectively apply advanced agile project management principles (SCRUM) to a project.

Targeted audience

Development supervisors, project coordinators (PM1), project leaders (PM2), consultants, service managers and directors in purchasing, engineering, accounting and finance.

Prerequisite

Experience in Agile project management (cours GE502).

  • Review of the SCRUM method and agility
  • Starting an Agile project: creating product backlog with user stories, themes & epics
  • Starting an Agile project: estimating user stories using Planning Poker (sizing)
  • Planning an Agile project: creating the sprint backlog
  • Following-up on an Agile project: Daily Scrums, Burndown Chart, performance indicators and Kanban Charts
  • Case studies
