Objectives

To provide the knowledge and skills required to understand the challenges of UX Design and what is involved at every level of implementing the process, understanding UX methods and available tools, implementing teams and workflows adapted to everyday and structural constraints.

Targeted audience

Web project directors, ergonomists, Web designers, creators or any individual who wishes to understand the basics of UX design.

Prerequisite

Experience working on a digital project.

Content

  • Key UX concepts: iterative process and methods, cognitive ergonomics and IHM
  • Method of organization and participants: users and project team
  • Understanding the challenges associated with user experience design: strategy, feasibility, esthetics, UX design
  • Application based on a project to be carried out using design thinking
  • Learning about users: contextual and traditional interviews, focus groups, surveys, personae
  • Defining a product: benchmark, experience maps, accessibility, multi-device
  • Generating ideas, innovation, co-creation: brainstorming, sketching
  • Interface prototype: zoning, cardboard/paper and medium/high-definition prototyping
  • Interface testing: methods (lab testing, remote testing, guerilla testing), ergonomic audit

60% Theory / 40% Practice
Acquired skills are tested throughout the semester using workshops, application of notions and concepts addressed during the course.
