Context – to understand why so many organizations are making the change

  • Requirements of the VUCA* environment
  • Managing complexity and simplicity

Concepts – to become familiar with agility

  • The agile organization, its structure and its managerial practices
  • The principles of self-management (collaboration, autonomy, direction, etc.)

Agility in practice – to integrate agility

  • Steps leading to organizational agility
  • Lessons learned from agile leaders

 

  • Unit 1 – Agile culture: Why? At the end of this unit, participants will be able to explain why agility has become so popular.
  • Unit 2 – Agile culture: What? At the end of this unit, participants will be able to explain key concepts agile businesses use as part of their management practices.
  • Unit 3 – Agile culture: How? At the end of this unit, participants will be able to compare the approach adopted by different leaders to embark on the shift towards organizational agility.

The current environment requires organizations to question their management and leadership practices.
