Evelyn de Blois has graduated from the Neuro Linguistic Programming
University (NLPU) in California and she specializes in communications.
She has over twenty years experience as a manager, speaker, trainer and
coach in business. Her education and experience at Bell help her provide
innovative solutions to the challenges of the rapid and ongoing development
of today’s businesses. She has trained hundreds of people on how
to manage human capital in businesses.
Carl M. Gilbert is a graduate of the École
Polytechnique de Montréal and holds a master’s with a major
in international project management from UQAM. The Project Management Institute
(PMI) has certified him as a Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI
Certified OPM3 Assessor & Consultant. He has more than thirteen years
of experience in project management, mostly as a consultant, trainer and
project director in the IT field. He has given many courses on project
management as well as prep sessions for PMP certification in North America,
Europe and Asia. Since 2007, he is back as Director, Programs of Certification
and Education at PMI-Montreal, role that he previously occupied from 1999
to 2004.
Benoit Dubuc
is a McGill University graduate with more than ten years of experience
in Web technologies. He heads Espace Courbe, an interactive website development
firm. He has worked on dozens of interactive sites, some of which span
thousands of pages and require search engines, on-line databases, access
management and automated updating tools. Examples of his work include
the real-time auction e-commerce site, The Daily Auction and the virtual
exhibition site, Curieux
univers, an initiative acclaimed on the national and international levels. Over
his career, he has provided several thousand people with training in
Web technology.
Michel de Champlain holds a graduate degree in computer engineering from the École polytechnique de Montréal. With twenty years programming experience, including eighteen years working with C++ and eleven years working with Java, Michel has been using C# from the very beginning. He has been teaching object technologies since 1988 and has already trained thousands of people worldwide. He is the author of a number of books and articles on computing, the most recent one published by Morgan Kaufmann, “C# 2.0: Practical Guide for Programmers”.
Lynda Dubé holds a M.A. in business administration, a
B.A. in Communication Studies and a certificate of Psychology and is trained
in neurolinguistics programming. She has over fifteen years experience
as a business proprietor and manager, coach, trainer, speaker and corporate
consultant. She has been involved in many projects relative to entrepreneurial
capacity and strategic planning, human resources planning and management,
skill development and training, individual or group coaching, as well as
managing and planning for the change and reengineering.
Christine Simard holds a bachelor degree in industrial psychology and has been trained in the fields of education technologies and neurolinguistic programming. Building on over twenty years of experience as the president and executive of corporations, trainer, speaker and consultant with businesses such as Bell, she achieved several projects related to management, service implementation and training, in Canada and abroad.
Ghislain Massie is CCNA and MCSE certified by Cisco and Microsoft. He is a network consultant at Absolunet, a consulting firm specialized in network integration and intranet/extranet development. Before joining Absolunet, he made his career at Bell Canada as a technician, technical consultant and director. He carried out several mandates such as the implementation and administration of networks, and the roll-out and management of computer populations. Ghislain has given over 9,500 hours of training on network technology and system management for a private college and a Microsoft Authorized Center.
Pierre Lescarbeau has graduated from the Neuro Linguistic Programming University (NLPU) in California. He has over twenty years of experience in training, coaching and business administration. He has worked on several projects on reorganization, implementation of quality systems, business development and administration and creation of work teams, among others. Throughout his career, he has given lectures and training to several thousands of people on entrepreneurship and human capital.
Jacques Bourgeois is a trained developer who has been interested
in object-oriented programming since the beginning of the 90’s. He
has over twelve years of experience developing and maintaining Visual Basic
and Access applications, and has developed a management system for Basell’s
preventive maintenance procedures. Since 1994, he has been responsible
for training over three thousand people coming from various organizations
in Quebec.
Patrick Lhermie has over fifteen years’ experience in computing. He has managed and administered several UNIX, Linux and Oracle system. He has been using Linux for over seven years as part of his consulting activities. He has implemented a Linux group to oversee the replacement of Xterminals for a French client. He has already provided hundreds of people with Linux training.
Eric Vaillancourt has twelve years experience in project management
and programming. A former senior executive from private organizations,
mainly IT firms, he has been involved in the management of several projects
relative to business development and organizational change.
Philippe Gros has graduated from the Institut des télécoms
de Paris and is certified by the GIAC (Global
Information Assurance Certification)
in Intrusion Detection. Philippe is a member of the technical advisors
council of the SANS, an American security institute. He is a senior security
and internetworking consultant and has more than twenty years of experience
in telecommunications and computing. He has contributed to the development
of the health lane information highway and to the development of the Régie
des Rentes du Québec information highway.
Juan Stéphan is an expert in content programming at Espace
Courbe, a company specialized in the development of interactive websites
and in training relative to the creation of online content,
2003 Golden MIM awards finalist in the Web portal category. Juan has almost ten years
experience in multimedia development and has been involved in the implementation
of numbers of websites. He already took part in the development of several
websites and has trained over 2,000 people in Web technologies.
Alberto Del Castillo holds a degree in administrative data processing from UQAM. In the past ten years, he has specialized in business applications architecture and J2EE development. He also took part in the development of several major J2EE projects related to insurance, banking, finance, distribution and energy. He has several years of experience teaching IT and object languages, and has already provided hundreds of people with training in Java.
Annie Booth holds a diploma in translation from Concordia University. As the owner of a linguistic services company which she has been successfully operating for over five years already, Annie has had the opportunity to work with several translation offices as well as many advertising and communications agencies. In addition to working on countless translation projects, she has also been mandated with revising and writing a variety of texts. Annie has trained hundreds of people in English as a second language.
Dominic Sévigny has a degree
in computer science and electronics, and holds also the Microsoft MCSD
and MCAD certifications. He is the president of the RunAtServer consulting
firm, a vigorous player in the field of ASP.NET and Web development who
employs highly qualified developers. Dominic has held several conferences
to the Visual Studio User Group in Montreal and at the DevTeach, where
he has been honoured Best Speaker in 2007.
Patrice Pronovost is a Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He is a network consultant at Absolunet, a consulting firm specialized in network integration and intranet/extranet development. Before joining Absolunet, he was a technician at Hewlett Packard and has held a teaching position on Windows 2000 and Novell operation systems in many colleges. He has implemented numerous network solutions and trained several hundreds of people on system administration (Microsoft and Novell).
Philippe Brevet has a post-graduate degree in computing sciences
and is CNE, MCSE and CCNA certified by Novell, Microsoft and Cisco. He
is the founder and senior member of Absolunet, a consulting firm specialized
in network integration and intranet/extranet development. He has more than
fiteen years of experience in computer technology, most of which were engaged
in integrating Novell and Microsoft networks. Besides being a consultant
and a technical director for the firm, Philippe also worked as a training
director in the network technology area.
François Aubin has a master’s degree in cognitive
ergonomics from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. He has
twenty years of experience in cognitive ergonomics and complex systems
design and specializes in simplifying business processes and integrating
Internet technologies. Of note, he designed the Hydro-Quebec call center
user interface and the commercial banking service for mid-size and large-scale
organizations at the Royal Bank.
Nathalène Armand holds a degree in French and Quebec literature and a master degree in creative writing from McGill’s University. She has worked as a professional writer for over ten years, mostly with major corporations from the financial and social benefits sectors. She runs a business specialized in the strategic writing of printed material, websites and video scenarios.
