Geneviève Bibeau

Linguist and editor-reviser by trade who has spent the past 10 years teaching at a University, Genevieve Bibeau thrives at sharing her passion for the French language. What drives her: giving people the tools and confidence they need to write in French.

Geneviève Bibeau became enamoured with language when she took a linguistics immersion course in Germany. This fascination led her to obtain a Bachelor's degree in languages, with a minor in German studies and numerous other courses, among them French grammar studies.

;Her instructorship during the last year of her studies at UQAM was Geneviève's first foray into the world of teaching, where she discovered not only the joys of watching someone learn but also, the trials and tribulations experienced by the majority of people having decided to put pen to paper. This experience was the tip of the iceberg for her. A corporate trainer, general trainer and educator for TÉLUQ's evaluation division, Geneviève's mission is to facilitate the learning of French grammar rules while imbuing her students with the confidence needed to be good writers.

Geneviève continues to convey her passion for language while working as a writer-reviser for a marketing agency. Her ability to popularize texts and concepts, her capacity for synthesizing and her knowledge of the communications sector are critical to the training sessions she offers on behalf of Technologia.
