Initiator of the Project Management courses at Technologia, Carl Gilbert was the obvious choice as a representative for four of the programs in this particular area of specialty. He has been involved with the Montreal chapter of the PMI since 1996 and has a thorough understanding of the various certifications and requirements for project managers.
Carl M. Gilbert is a graduate of the École Polytechnique de Montréal and holds a master’s with a major in international project management from UQAM. The Project Management Institute (PMI) has certified him as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), PMI Certified OPM3 Professional and Risk Management Professional (RMP). He has more than twenty years of experience in project management, mostly as a consultant, trainer and project director in the IT field.
He has given many courses on project management as well as prep sessions for PMP/RMP/ACP certification in North America, Europe and Asia. He is Director, Programs of Certification and Education at PMI-Montreal. He helds this position from 1999 to 2004.
